Why departments!!!

It has been a month since I have joined a new job here at my native place. The pay is adequate for the moment, but I don't know whether the amount will effect me latter or not, as because humans  have made money as the necessary evil which is going to ride the vehicle of their life. Hence even I am bound to have desires for money.

Ahhhh, well recently from my job I have learn something very important and would love to share.

An organization is divided into many different segments which we call as departments. The thing is that these departments are mutually exclusive with each other. Their collective work result into the complete output of a whole organization.

Just talking about the efficiency of the organization, one has to consider that each and every department is giving its best to complete their part of work.

Now, gradually when we reduce the size of the organization a whole department may comprise of only one person (i.e. a single person may represent a department) then we start to get concerned about others work and if we have a good heart then we may even indulge with him/her to make his work done as fast as possible. If any person or any department start taking care of any other department then there may be chances that the helper department may lose concentration on its own work thus reducing the quality of their piece of work.

This may become a cause why a product or the project which is under development may receive a flaw in it, though the departments can't be blamed as they are good in their work but still these kind of errors may occur inside a middle scale or a small scale organization.
